A Street Car Named Desire

I designed two posters for the Scottish Ballet’s performance of Tennessee Williams’ play, A Streetcar Named Desire, performed at Chicago’s Harris Theater in 2015.

The first of the two posters references the light motif used throughout the story and the three moths represent the play’s main characters.

The second poster uses photography from the performance and a hand-textured paint and type treatment to heighten the tension of the scene.
